Natalia, I heard you sang Gas Station Roses and Mona played with you at Torrey, UT. Where and when will I find that on CD?
Thanks, ET

I first heard and saw you at the Red Rock Women's Music Fest in Torrey, UT on Aug 2010. It was my first time to be at such a gathering of amazingly talented musicians. But your voice and orchestral strumming opened up my senses and I am now a loving fan of yours. Keep the beat going!

With glowing radiance, unique beats on each song, and a plethora of stories I was entranced. I look forward to purchasing your music and filtering it through my ipod. By the way, I see you have a sense of humor. You joked about flashing the audience at a concert at some school. So I guess this is ok. I couldn't help but notice the highest button on your blouse that was buttoned last night being in about the middle of your chest. That poor little button was under a lot of stress trying to hold on. I must confess, I am disappointed it held on. That is one tuff little button. You can tell that button I said stop working so hard.

Saranac Lake--last night. Found myself absorbed in your voice cutting through the harmonies on your guitar. You really are something. Awesome guitar player. On slowing down--been trying to do that for years. Successful some days and others not so much. Couldn't help but notice your Goodall. I have one of his Concert Jumbos. Maybe someday our two Goodalls will meet. Hope you enjoyed your run this morning. A contrast to Brooklyn I'm sure. Was tempted to stay and tell you some great trails to run.

Blown away by Ms. Zukerman's set at Tupelo last night! She's chock full of talent, talent, talent. Where'd you learn to sing and play like that, Gurl? Couldn't help but feel that Natalia is on her way to music greatness. In the not too distant future, I hear myself saying "I saw her when..." Add this old guy to her fan club!

I caught the Garden Valley gig last week and was beyond pleased with hearing Natalia for the first time - love Lindsey Mac, but you could've played longer! Excellent guitar playing, inspiring me to get to the next level - thanks for being a traveling musician, and you are welcome in Garden Valley CA anytime!

Deirdre

March 2, 2010

Wow Garden Valley! Yikes that's out there. I may make it, but that's a lot of windy roads on a rainy night. Maybe we'll make it to hear you and split before Lindsay Mac. I'll tell my friends in the hills.

Hi, Natalia! How about Woodstock, IL again next year? We enjoyed seeing you. Nice 90 minute drive from Milwaukee.

I am working out "Better Me" and so far have IDed most of the chord overlays, but to be sure do you have a published tab or music available anywhere? The middle section is harder to determine than the obvious Eminor GMajor Aminor Eminor sequence. Great song!

See you someplace soon,

Natalia,
Have you ever met someone for the very first time and it seemed as if you have known them for years? The conversation just had a natural flow to it. Like we were on the same frequency. That is how I felt when we met this year after 2 shows you played in Chicago. Your music, your voice, you... make this world a better place. Thank you. I wish you continued success. Hope to attend another one of your venues in or around Chicago. Would love to hear from you 630 201-5103. All the best, Maureen

Natalia, I caught your show (along with Trina Hamlin) at the Insideout Gallery in Traverse City this past Sunday night. You were great. The two of you sound and perform well together. I apologize for Traverse Citys' not showing up in more numbers! I guess folks were burned out from the Film Festival week. Anyway, I and the others in attendance enjoyed your professional delivery, great musician-ship, singing and entertaining. Please come back again and give us a chance to fill the joint up for you. All the best with your continuing tour.

Hello Natalia,
Yesterday afternoon (06.13.09) my partner Jeannine Bartlett and I had the great surprise and pleasure of meeting both you and Trina Hamlin during your visit to the Boatslip in Ptown, MA. Both of us loved the brief time and laughs we all shared, along with my love for The Big Apple, NYY, and Brooklyn's Park Slope. Both you and Trina had wonderful and contagious positive energy and enthusiasm that we instantly shared.
We will attend your Sun night show at The Art House. Thanks again for the complimentary pass.
Ciao for now,

We were at the Gingo coffee house 4-10-09. Fantasic!!! We came to see Antje. You were a treasure to discover. My wife is a big fan of Ellis, so it was no surprise to see her name on the liner notes. We enjoyed the story telling (like with Ellis) a great deal. We hope you will return to Minnesota soon. So we can bring our friends to hear you, live. Thanks for a great night of song and story.

i just have to thank you. i was recently offered my dream job after a long time of searching and applying. the drive to my interview was over 2 hours (i will be utilizing public transit next time!) and the only thing i wanted coming out of my speakers was your newest album, i've been hooked for about two weeks now. the whole way there and back i was listening and it helped me maintain a certain sense of calm, as i tend to panic in these situations. i promised myself that i would thank everyone who had a part in my getting this job, an earth friendly job, and as weird as it is to tell you, you had a part, so thank you! thank you so much for sharing your gift and talent!

Hi there,
I just got your cd yesterday (I was the customer from the Netherlands), and I was so surprised to find your signature on the envelope! Everything else about you (the website, the cd) look so professional, and then to have it "personally mailed out" really struck a chord. I think the album's great and I want to thank you for it. Here's hoping more people learn about your music :)

I am getting more and more worried about the economy and global meltdown.

The more things change the more they remain the same. The fundamental challenges we face today have changed little since Chaucer penned his observations on life and distilled them in a set of tales. In the modern city of Canterbury University Students analyse and dissect the meanings conveyed in texts set in that very locale in the 1300’s.

Youngsters face today’s Jekyll and Hyde society not knowing that the Constants remain; love, betrayal, desire, fear. Each story conveys a lesson as we study for our degree in the University of Life, the big diploma mill of which we are all Alumni. We sit grinning like Cheshire cats, thinking we have all the answers.

We call it a success when we pollute our atmosphere shooting down our own Satellite USA 193, Market Street Credibility is our preferred accreditation and recognition from our peers and fellow consumers, we Poison our Planet for Profit. Banks have crashed before and remember – you can’t eat money.

Globalization has consequences. Everything we do has consequences, even something simple like buying firewood. The Oregon ODA advises not to obtain anything from out-of-state because of all the insects and diseases it might carry. That is just a relatively local issue. Imagine all the things that are carried around the world each day – each hour. We must protect our future, just as we should remember our past. All over the world, From the UK to the USA and the Seychelles to Egypt, still, yes, STILL, there is no REAL alternative to fossil fuels.

Are we all going to purgatory in a wheelbarrow telling each other stories to pass the time? Sometimes I wonder!

Sorry guys, I had a long day and feel sick of the world. Rant Over!

Diana

What a joy to find your music through "Art of the Song" via Tish Hinojosa's website. I got the chance to see her play in a small coffeehouse near where I live in the California foothills.
How great if you could play there! Wow.
At any rate, I just want to say you are an inspiration, and extremely creative...duh...What a joy you seem to weave into your music...I lost my mother of 82 years recently, and your song "only Trees" really rings through. Thank you so much -- look forward to getting more of your music...Thank you, and all best...

Hi Natalia

your music is so beautiful, we just saw you at summerfolk... my mom and i sat up at the very front for every one of your shows and I was entranced by your skill and beauty. I especially like your workshop with Toby Walker... he's great eh?

Anyway you are a fantastic songwriter, you have a voice like windchimes on the front porch in a late summer breeze, and your guitar playing is... like racing pick-ups on a dusty road, all windy and grindy and absolutely mesmerizing.

peace out to you, sister and good luck in all your travels... you are all OVER the place, except canada! if you ever do another stint in ontario (and please, do...) make sure you stop in peterborough.
